The Radio Disney Music Awards honored the year’s achievements in the teen-pop/pop music genre and other songs that were popular on Radio Disney. The voting process featured various and fun categories and took place on Radio Disney’s website (radio.disney.com). Awards were awarded based on the overall votes. The award show was nicknamed the “RDMAs” with a golden Mickey award called an “ARDY” (pronounced R-D in honor of Radio Disney’s initials). Sabrina did attend the 2013 Radio Disney Music Awards, (prior to the release of Girl Meets World) but was not filmed.
