Adventures in Babysitting is a remake of the 1987 movie with same name. The film follows two teenage girls who are rival babysitters, Jenny and Lola. Despite their differences, the pair team up to help find one of the kids they were babysitting goes missing. The film follows the two babysitter’s and the remaining kids through a night on the town as they look for the missing kid.

This movie was the 100th Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) and had a televised celebration with the cast and other Disney Channel stars to celebrate during the premiere. A remake was reportedly in the works and set for a release date in 2009. Fellow Disney Channel stars Raven-Symoné  and Miley Cyrus were rumored to star in the movie, but both actors denied any involvement. In January of 2015, it was announced that Sabrina and Sofia Carson were cast in the remake. The film was originally going to be called “Further Adventures in Babysitting”. Filming began on March 2, 2015 in Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada) and wrapped a month later on April 18, 2015.
